What are links

If you have read the page new website you may start to understand that links that are pointing to your website are as important as the site itself and the more of these you get the more impotant your site is, but be careful as google may penalise you for this.

When you see these links on a web page you may notice that they have some text or it says `click here` this is called achor text and this is what search engines read and helps identify the page and its content. when some asks you about placing a link on their website then you should most certainly say yes. Make sure the text is useful to your site and does not say click here as this is waste if the link.

How do i get text links?

There are many places to get these and they come in the form of directories, article submissions, social booking sites and forums. Getting links can take time and alot of searching and patience and really you need someone who does this on a daily basis and knows the best places to find them.
